3 HANI Enterprises Ltd and GBA Halal Certification Centre Ltd. (GHCC) are proud to announce the signing of a landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with The Halal Science Centre (HSC), Chulalongkorn University. The tripartite agreement, signed on December 18, 2025, establishes a strategic partnership aimed at fostering collaboration and making use of advancements in science, technology, and certification to ensure solidly built Halal systems throughout the region.

This collaboration is a significant step forward in strengthening the Halal industry linkages between Hong Kong, Macau, and Thailand, and is set to benefit the development of the Halal economy in the Greater Bay Area (GBA).

Advancing Halal Integrity and Technology

The partnership is specifically designed to enhance Halal integrity and logistics in Hong Kong and Macau through scientific standards and robust certification. The parties will also explore cutting-edge advancements, including:

• Blockchain Technology: Implementing blockchain for Halal certification and establishing Halal ecosystems with full traceability management.
• Global Database Development: Developing and utilizing a global database for decrypting Halal chemicals, such as the H-Number system.
