Diversity thrives on mutual respect and understanding. Why not join Halal Friday? This initiative, introduced by our founder Ms. Sharifa Leung, aims to celebrate inclusivity and promote awareness of cultural diversity. The idea was presented during the “International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination Panel Discussion” organized by the Equal Opportunity Commission in 2022. By participating in Halal Friday, we embrace the richness of our differences and foster a community built on acceptance and respect for all.

During Ramadan 2025, we proudly partnered with Kowloon Shangri-La to host the inaugural Ramadan Halal Friday, a unique event that bridges communities. This gathering brings together Muslims and local non-Muslims to celebrate the spirit of Ramadan while fostering dialogue and understanding. Attendees can enjoy a sumptuous buffet featuring the first Halal-friendly selections, allowing everyone to experience and appreciate diverse culinary traditions. Through this event, we aim to create an atmosphere of cultural exchange, where etiquette and customs are shared, enriching the community and promoting harmony.
